The Mysore Practice during this time is an experiment. You will unravel your previously ingrained movement patterns.
You will be encouraged to explore your understanding of the practice and what this practice means to you!

*Santina will encourage you to slow your practice down. You might not finish your full practice – especially the first day.

*Not typical Mysore room. We don’t practice silence during the intensive.

*Verbal teachings, instructions and discussions are ongoing with the students while practising.

*There are no forceful or intrusive adjustments imposed on the body.

*Santina’s hands direct the body and her verbal cues give further understanding and guidance.

*Santina teaches basic anatomy and the use of imagery to improve alignment and coordination.

*Be open and prepared to be stopped in your practice anytime so you can refine your movements.

*Props/tools are often used, for example, a better understanding of body movements, injuries.

*Be open to emotional and psychological illuminations and new awareness. The time together can be an emotionally intense period.

*Santina offers direct, yet affectionate, personal attention to each practitioner. Be open to having dialogues and discourse with Santina.

Private Sessions / Read More

During a private consultation, I will treat you with care and consideration. I will observe, assess and attend to your body and energy in order to design an appropriate practice for you. We will go over your health questionnaire, and I will be listening attentively to your needs. From this point, we can start the process toward devising a practice or therapy program.

The practice will target natural recuperative powers to specific systems of the body.

Online sessions are available. This can be a private session, a couple one or within a group.

Online sessions have some advantages that might fit our modern way of life, such as the convenience to have participate anywhere around the global without spending time in transference, both for the therapist and the client.

Also, it gives us the freedom to develop a therapeutic relationship beyond borders, according to more personalized criteria such as who this person is or the method that he/she uses or the philosophy of his/her life, regardless of the distance!

Online sessions are held with the use of Zoom software.
