Short Description:
Santina brings her unique blend of Ashtanga practice and Gestalt-informed inquiry to Ecuador. Mysore mornings, themed workshops, and group exploration create a space where yoga becomes more than posture—an entry into dialogue, digestion, and embodied awareness.
Detailed Description:
In Quito, five days of Mysore practice set the rhythm, with an afternoon workshop introducing the Intermediate Series through the gateway of backbending. The emphasis is on sensitivity, rather than performance—learning to meet the second series as a vehicle for awareness.
In Riobamba, the weekend turns toward “Foundations of Embodied Ashtanga,” a workshop that re frames practice as inquiry into emotional digestion and gateway postures. The Sunday led class provides an anchor in community rhythm.
Throughout, Santina weaves in Gestalt principles of field, dialogue, and presence. Students are guided to discover practice not just as a sequence, but as a mirror of inner life.
